About Us

The Arc of Riverside County is a private, non-profit corporation devoted solely to improving the welfare of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. We are a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt membership organization that derives its support from donations, grants, business enterprises and fees from state agencies.

Our Mission
The Arc of Riverside County is committed to securing for all people with developmental disabilities, in partnership with their families, legal guardians or conservators the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how they learn, live, work and play.

The Arc of Riverside County is further committed to reducing the incidence and limiting the consequence of developmental disabilities through education, research, advocacy and the support of families, friends and community.

Additionally, The Arc of Riverside County is:

  • A Riverside non-profit charitable organization since 1953
  • An advocate for the rights of all persons with developmental disabilities
  • A primary day service provider for adults with developmental disabilities in Riverside County
  • A referral source for information on community resources
  • A local chapter of Arc California and The Arc of the United States
  • Accredited by Carf, the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission
  • A member of the California Rehabilitation Association (CRA)
